Download and save the program to disk and choose to save it on your desktop.
Click the downloaded file to install the software.
This places the ICredit icon on the desktop.
Start the program by double-clicking on the ICredit icon.
Under File/Setups:
a) select the proper bureaus and defaults
b) check require logon if necessary and add users
c) enter the correct ACCOUNT and PASSWORD
issued by Hart Software (case sensitive)
d) Click "OK" to save the setups
At this point, the program is ready to run.
Shrink the program down to the task bar.
Reynolds & Reynolds:
1) Instead of going the the CM (Credit Master) screen,
proceed to the Contract screen - customer information.
2) Enter the Name, Address, City, State, Zip, SSN
3) Go to the Edit Menu, and select "Select Window"
4) Go to the Edit Menu, and select "Copy"
5) Click on the shrunken ICredit icon in the task bar.
At this point, ICredit will pop up, and have all the information filled in.
Press "Submit"
View and Print the Credit Report.
FAQ's
1. Does the system store the reports?
The ICredit program will store the last 5 reports locally on your system.
They can be accessed from the File menu.
Hart Software will store all reports for 90 days.
2. How do I access a stored report?
a) Click on File/Administration Site. This will take you to stored reports
where you choose the criteria to view.
or
b) Simply re-request the same report. ICredit will inform you that
the report has been previously pulled. You then have the option of
reviewing the old report, or re-pulling a new report.
3. How do I test the program?
The download version has a sample code pre-installed. You can pull a sample
report for free.
4. Will this populate the information back into the Reynolds and Reynolds system?
No, ICredit is completely independent of Reynolds and Reynolds. Since the credit
reports are stored at Hart Software, there is no need to store them on the R and R
system. In fact, there is no need use the Credit Master software at all.
5. What are the system requirements?
ICredit requires Windows 98 or better. It may be possible to update
Win95 to use the WinSock2 library, but we can't guarantee that
the program will work with Windows95. If you'd like to try updating
Win95, go to MicroSoft update
We also recommend a laser printer or ink jet printer.
